German airline Lufthansa LHAG.DE stated on Wednesday it had suspended flights to Tehran because of the scenario within the Center East, which is on alert for doable Iranian retaliation for a suspected Israeli air strike on Iran’s embassy in Syria.
An Iranian information company briefly stoked tensions when it printed an Arabic report on social media platform X saying all airspace over Tehran had been closed for army drills. The company then eliminated the report and denied it had issued such information.
