Guwahati: An IIT-Guwahati scholar who had allegedly pledged allegiance to ISIS and was travelling to affix the phobia group was detained at Hajo on Saturday night, police stated.
The coed was nabbed 4 days after the ISIS India head Haris Farooqi alias Harish Ajmal Farukhi and his affiliate Anurag Singh alias Rehan had been arrested in Dhubri district after that they had crossed over from Bangladesh.

A search was began to find him and he was nabbed from the Hajo space, round 30 km from Guwahati, within the night with the assistance of locals, the ASP stated.
