A small aircraft made an emergency touchdown Wednesday afternoon on a street in Hollis.
Joseph Bowen, 57, of Norway was flying the blue and white Cessna mannequin 180 about 2 p.m. when he grew to become low on gas, in accordance with York County Sheriff William King Jr.
Bowen landed on Killick Pond Street, close to the Poland Springs facility, King mentioned.
King mentioned that the aircraft might be saved on the Poland Springs property till Bowen can dissemble it and have it moved on the route of the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration.
